At this time I am 28 years old and have been fishing longer than I can remember. My uncle Brian used to take myself and my brother fishing all the time and he helped me develop the love for fishing that I have.

I eventually got to a point that I wanted to understand what made fish "tick" I would study contour maps, keep logs of things like weather, pressure, and seasonal patterns to start to understand why a fish was in one spot one day and not there the next.

When I started to process this information I realized that some patterns repeated themselves- often. I now can cut out big chunks of water and concentrate on productive waters to land more fish. Now the problem was the right lure, I could always find something close....but never exactly what I wanted.....this is where the custom part comes in.

In 2006 I started to tinker with making spinner baits, then some lead heads, and it lead to finally making a wide range of lures including blade baits, buzz baits, bass jigs and ultimately with the help of Scott Brauer of Makiplastic - pouring and injecting my own plastic. After a very long field testing period we decided to make it available to anyone. I know when people hear the word custom that expensive pops into mind- not with these. By doing everything ourselves we can keep the costs low, usually less expensive than buying mass produced plastic, plus you get exactly what you're looking for. You choose the color, glitter, scent....with over 30 styles of summer plastics like frogs, craws, worms, and trailers we can make anything you dream up.

I also pride myself in understanding electronics- especially flashers designed for ice fishing. You can go out and just "use" these, but when you understand how they work and the "little things" you can catch more fish....a lot more fish. I will share this information best I can with anyone who asks.
